Wade Benz Obituary, Franklin TN, Wade Benz Has Died – Death

Wade Benz Obituary, Death – On Thursday, January 18, 2024, Celia Wade, who was 73 years old and a resident of Alcoa, passed away at her house while her family was present.

Celia had been a devoted member of the Alcoa First Baptist Church for more than half a century, and she came to retirement after having worked for Dr. Patrick Burkhart for more than three decades. Creating a house for her family and spending time with her grandchildren, who were the most important people in her life, were two of her favourite things to do.

Those who knew her will miss her tremendously since she was a loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed. She became a devoted supporter of the University of Tennessee and cherished the time she spent travelling with Johnny and Judy Shore.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Jim Medford; her nephew, Jason Godsey; and her brother-in-law, Raymond Wade. Her parents, Tom Alsobrook and Jean Medford, both passed away before her. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Curtis Wade; her daughter, April Wade; her son and daughter-in-law,

Josh and Amy Wade; her grandchildren, Caden Garner, Abby Brown, and Maddox Wade; her sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Steve Tipton; her brother and sister-in-law, Jerome and Theresa Alsobrook; her step-mother, Sue Alsobrook; her sister-in-law, Bette Wade; special friends, Rhonda Rogers and Sue Marsdon; and a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives also survive her.

On Friday, January 26, 2024, the family will have a gathering for friends in the Smith West Chapel from five o’clock to seven o’clock. Following the gathering, a celebration of Celia’s life will take place at seven o’clock, with Reverend Greg Long and Reverend Chandler Warren serving as the officiants.
