Donta’Veous Marshall Shooting; 29 Years Old Man, Donta’Veous Marshall Found Shot, Dead In Chatham County Road

An investigation into a potential homicide has been launched by Chatham County officials following the discovery of a man’s body in the middle of the road. For the Georgetown community, this is a regrettable turn of events.

Chatham County Police were dispatched to the scene at around 7:30 a.m. on Saturday in response to a report. As a result, there were a lot of law enforcement officials in the vicinity of King George and St. George Boulevards.

The Chatham County Coroner’s Office was able to identify the deceased as 29-year-old Donta’Veous Sharrod Cockfield Marshall after conducting additional investigations.

Marshall was found to have had at least one gunshot wound at 8:19 in the morning, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. Given the circumstances surrounding his untimely death, we have concluded that it was the consequence of a homicide.
