She graduated with honors from Northeast High School in Oakland Park, Florida, where she excelled both academically and personally at a young age. However, it wasn’t until Sharron went to Jacksonville, Florida that she met Cody Taylor, who would go on to become her lifelong partner and eventual love interest. Their connection was instant and indisputable, laying the foundation for an unending romance that endures despite the passage of time and the separation of physical distance.

During the time that Cody was enlisting in the military following his graduation, Sharron and Cody tied the knot and began an incredible journey that ultimately led them to reside in Germany for a period of several months. Sharron experienced tremendous personal growth during this time in Germany, despite the fact that she did not speak the local language. She learned adaptability, resilience, and the universal language of kindness along the way. Not only was their experience romantic, but it was also a time of great personal growth.

After moving back to Jacksonville, Sharron and Cody settled down and started a family by bringing their children, Jason and Christy, into the world. Sharron then went on to pursue an exceptional career path by joining the federal government as a Quality Assurance Program Manager. In recognition of her exceptional efforts, she was presented with an award known as the Federal Employee of the Year Technical Managerial Award, which acknowledged her professional excellence.

Sharron was moved to pursue a career in nursing after she witnessed the compassion of a nurse during her own fight against breast cancer. The compassion of a single nurse left a significant impression on Sharron, and she came to realize that she wanted to be a nurse. Sharron received her Associate of Arts degree from Florida Community College of Jacksonville when she was 48 years old. She went on to earn both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Jacksonville University. In addition, she was distinguished with a number of awards, including the Directors Award of Jacksonville University in 2012 and the Clinical Practice Development Awards in 2011 and 2010.
