20-year-old Trenton Todd charged with murder in Mobile shooting that killed 20-year-old Laguy Miller

Mobile police have announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a triple shooting that occurred on February 17, resulting in the tragic death of 20-year-old Laguy Miller and injuries to two teenagers.

The suspect, identified as Trenton Todd, aged 20, has been charged with murder, according to Cpl. Katrina Frazier.

The incident took place in the 1500 block of Next Street around 11:07 p.m. on February 17, where authorities found Miller and two other victims suffering from gunshot wounds. The two injured individuals, an 18-year-old man and a 16-year-old boy, were promptly transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

Despite the best efforts of medical personnel, Miller succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. The loss of a young life in such a senseless act of violence has sent shockwaves through the community, leaving loved ones and residents grappling with grief and disbelief.
